This conference will address the issues of the Internet, e-commerce, infringement take-down notices, online- arbitration, copyright and intellectual property rights, licensing and recent legal developments. The conference concludes with an introduction to some of the new m-commerce and m-legal issues.
This Conference is relevant to those involved in e-commerce, m-commerce, communications, IT, programming and software development, such as ISPs, developers, telcos, on-line retailors, service providers, solicitors and in-house counsel who are involved in Internet licensing and copyright issues as well as those interested in the Internet generally.

Professor Robert Clark
An acknowledged contract and intellectual property law expert. Co-author of Intellectual Property Law in Ireland and consultant with Arthur Cox Solicitors. Recently published The Law of Copyright & Designs in Ireland.
Don McAleese
Partner and Head of IT Law Group, Matheson Ormsby Prentice and specialises in contracts for the acquisition of computer systems, electronic commerce and internet law. Chairman of the Legal Subcommittee of the Electronic Commerce Association of Ireland and member of the Legal Advisory Group to the Irish Information Society Commission.
Cliona O’Sullivan
Member of McCann Fitzgerald IP & E-Commerce Groups specialising in intellectual property (IP) disputes and advisory work.
Brian Hutchinson
Associate Dean, Faculty of Law, University College Dublin. Special interest in online arbitration models and issues. Director of the Diploma in Arbitration Programme at Faculty of Law UCD
